Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules for responsible use of AISupplyNav. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
1. Permitted Uses
AISupplyNav is designed for legitimate business use by supply chain professionals. You may:
- Use our assessments, reports, and advisory tools for your organization's supply chain decisions.
- Share outputs within your organization for internal business purposes.
- Integrate AISupplyNav insights into your internal business processes and reports.
- Use AI-generated outputs as informational inputs (with appropriate verification) for business decisions.
2. Prohibited Uses
You must not use AISupplyNav to:
Illegal Activity
- Conduct, promote, or facilitate any illegal activity.
- Violate export control laws, sanctions, or trade restrictions (ITAR, EAR, OFAC).
- Facilitate money laundering, fraud, or financial crimes.
- Process data in violation of applicable privacy or data protection laws.
Platform Abuse
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data beyond published APIs.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models, algorithms, or proprietary methods.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service or its infrastructure.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system without authorization.
- Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
Competitive Misuse
- Use AISupplyNav to build, train, or improve a competing product or service.
- Systematically download or copy outputs for the purpose of creating an alternative database or service.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute AISupplyNav outputs commercially without written authorization.
Content Abuse
- Submit knowingly false data to manipulate assessment results or recommendations.
- Use the chat interface for purposes unrelated to supply chain management.
- Submit content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory.
3. Account Termination Triggers
The following actions may result in immediate account termination without prior warning:
Immediate Termination
- Unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts.
- Deliberate introduction of malicious code or security exploits.
- Use of the service to violate export controls, sanctions, or trade restrictions.
- Systematic data extraction or scraping at scale.
- Any use that poses a legal risk to AISupplyNav, its users, or third parties.
For less severe violations, we will typically:
- Notify you of the violation via email.
- Allow 5 business days to cure the violation.
- Suspend the account if the violation is not cured.
- Terminate the account if the violation continues after suspension.
4. Rate Limits & Fair Use
- AISupplyNav may impose reasonable rate limits on API calls, chat messages, and report generation.
- Free-tier users are subject to usage limits as published on our pricing page.
- Subscribers receive higher limits as defined by their plan. Excessive usage that degrades service for other users may be throttled.
5. Reporting Violations
If you believe another user is violating this policy, or if you discover a security vulnerability, please report it immediately:
We investigate all reports and take appropriate action. Reports are kept confidential.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP as our service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
